THE GOOD WAR And Those Who Refused To Fight It, an ITVS presentation, was produced by Paradigm Productions, a non-profit media organization based on Berkeley, California.

Rick Tejada-Flores
Co-Producer/Director

Rick Tejada-Flores has produced many documentary films for PBS, including THE FIGHT IN THE FIELDS: Cesar Chavez And The Farmworkers' Struggle, Rivera In America and Jasper Johns: Ideas in Paint. He was the first director of the Latino Program Consortium at public television station KCET, and has also produced a film series on Southwest cultural life for the Smithsonian Institution.

Judith Ehrlich
Co-Producer/Director/Writer

Judith Ehrlich has produced, written and directed dozens of programs in video, radio and multi-media on issues of non-violence, education, social justice, human rights, health, disability, housing and voting rights. In 1991, she produced a three-part radio series on the history of conscientious objection for public radio.

Laurie Coyle
Associate Producer and Chief Archivist

Laurie Coyle served as associate producer and archivist on THE FIGHT IN THE FIELDS: Cesar Chavez And The Farmworkers' Struggle, and also served as program coordinator for the Independent Television Service. She is currently working as associate producer and chief archivist on RALPH ELLISON: An American Journey, which will be broadcast on American Masters in 2002.

Vicente Franco
Director of Photography

Vicente Franco has shot a long list of documentary films, including two nominated for Academy Awards: Freedom On My Mind and Forever Activist. He shot THE FIGHT IN THE FIELDS: Cesar Chavez And The Farmworkers' Struggle and has been D.P. on all of Ehrlich's films. Franco is co-producer of Cuba Va and the upcoming American Experience program DAUGHTER FROM DANANG.

Ken Schneider
Editor

Ken Schneider's editing credits include Regret to Inform, STORE WARS, and many other films. He is currently editing RALPH ELLISON: An American Journey. Schneider is the co-producer of the documentary film BORN IN THE USA.

Nick Bertoni
Audio Engineer

Nick Bertoni has worked as a sound recordist for over 25 years on a long list of documentaries and independent feature films, including all of Ehrlich's productions and Rick Schmidt's feature films. He met his wife, Judith Ehrlich, when she rented his video gear.

Barney Jones
Music Composer/Sound Designer

Barney Jones is an owner of Earwax Productions in San Francisco, CA. He has composed music for the Magic Theatre, American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater and Pixar. A graduate of the electronic music and recording media department at Mills College, Jones is the son and nephew of World War II Quaker conscientious objectors.
